Descendants of Crom is Pittsburgh’s premier annual heavy underground music festival, dedicated to showcasing a powerful lineup of local, regional, and national bands. Since its inception in 2017, DOC has grown into a vital event for the city’s underground music community, providing a home for doom, sludge, stoner, post-metal, and extreme-adjacent metal in an intimate yet high-impact setting. As the only festival of its kind in Pittsburgh, it continues to build momentum each year, bringing together passionate fans and artists to celebrate the raw and authentic spirit of heavy music.

DOC is a fully curated festival and does not accept submissions. However, we’re always looking for aligned sponsors and vendors and welcome ideas to enhance the festival, as we strive to do year after year. Reach out!
